The repertoire of large slabs included in the collection features patterns inspired by two distinct sources: on one hand, it draws from the noble, always surprising veined texture of certain specific metamorphic rocks, while on the other, the inspiration comes from the refined chromatic fields of marmorino. These two materials, though in different ways, refer to the historic Italian building culture.
The geometry of a semicircular arch is then used to propose combinations of the two decorations within the same ceramic, which takes on the appearance of a marvelous inlaid area that can be combined with others to generate a rich array of figurative patterns and possible two-dimensional designs, each characterized by a specific visual impact.
